Mallorca’s most famous winter fiesta. On the eve, 16 January, sa Pobla lights its bonfires, the dimonis dance in Plaça Major, and a firework and music show sets the square alight before the party runs into the night. On the 17th come the solemn mass, the caparrots and the traditional blessing of animals (beneïdes).
